1. Can I Use External Controllers and Inputs with my REDMAGIC Device?

Yes, you can connect several external devices to your REDMAGIC smartphone or tablet as needed.  The REDMAGIC X Gravity system ensures external input support, allowing you to connect your device to controllers, keyboards, and mice so you can play games with your preferred input method. Activating the competitive key to enter Host Mode also allows you to play mobile games on a PC by connecting the phone directly to the monitor. 

Your X Gravity settings allow you to map inputs manually or for select games. This system will automatically detect the control scheme to provide a seamless plug-and-play experience. This turns every REDMAGIC device into a versatile gaming hub, especially when used with gamepads or desktop-style setups.

2. How Do I Prevent Jittery Aim While Gaming? 

First, ensure that the settings in the game itself are optimized for stable visuals. On your REDMAGIC device, you’ll find Screen Touch Adjustments settings in the Energy Cube interface under Adjust Operations.

Adjust the settings here for optimal visual stability. A lower setting on the smoothness bar improves image stability, while higher settings are better for faster visuals. Lower stabilization will also ensure better precision for aiming, while a higher setting reduces screen jitter for smoother control. 

3. How Can I Extend My Battery Life?

Battery drain can happen when your settings are not optimized for energy saving. Try to switch to energy-saving mode on your REDMAGIC device and ensure that apps are not running in the background. It’s also important to have healthy charging habits and follow battery-saving tips:

• Try to charge your battery before it goes below 20% and unplug it once it hits 80% to prevent overcharging.

• Enable charge separation on your device to protect your battery while maintaining direct power from the outlet.

• Use a cooler for intense gaming sessions to prevent overheating, which might damage your battery.

• Switch to Eco Mode to conserve battery life while you game.

• Keep your screen brightness low and turn off the always-on display.

• Be wary of the type of games you play when your battery is not fully charged; many games heavily consume power.

• Update your OS regularly. This will give your device the latest optimization settings and features to conserve battery life and enhance performance.

4. Why Does My Battery Drain Faster After an Update?

This is a general issue with many phone updates, where your battery might seem to drain a lot faster after a software update. However, this isn’t a malicious battery-eating scheme by Big Phone industries, but rather a temporary setback after installing a new OS. Phone updates take a lot of energy, and after you’ve switched on your phone again, many of those updating processes are still running in the background to get the software into shape. This will naturally consume more battery life.

Updates can also alter your battery and display settings to have enough power for necessary processes. Ensure that your battery optimization settings are back to normal after you’ve updated your device to prevent battery drain. New features and fittings from your update might also consume more power, and you might unintentionally use your phone a bit more while checking out these new elements. Your battery drain will eventually move back to normal or even out accordingly.

5. My Tracking Status Hasn’t Changed for a While

There may be times when delays occur along the supply chain, leading to a delay in your delivery. 6. How Can I Livestream Games More Efficiently with My REDMAGIC Device?

Livestreaming is all the rage these days, and it’s no surprise that you’d want to use your REDMAGIC device to stay on trend. Fortunately, with Streamlabs Mobile, you can seamlessly stream gameplay without a capture card. Streamlabs Mobile is a free app that specializes in facilitating livestreaming on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, TikTok, and more.

We’ve previously covered how to use Streamlabs Mobile effectively with both the REDMAGIC 10S Pro and Astra gaming tablet. Simply install the app on your device, follow the easy steps laid out in the article to set up your stream, then you’re ready to go. 

7. When Will the Astra 12GB + 256GB Starfrost Gaming Tablet Be Available?

Due to unforeseen supply chain delays, the Astra 12GB + 256GB Starfrost gaming tablet release has been delayed until September 10, 2025. We do apologize for the inconvenience. More information on the delayed Starfrost release can be found in this article. 

The Early Bird special for the Starfrost 12GB + 256GB gaming tablet will still be in effect until the 17th of September 2025. However, for all other Astra gaming tablet versions, the Early Bird code will still expire on August 16, 2025.
