The review found that the 10 Pro came with a 2,609mAh larger battery capacity and scored 75% higher in AnTuTu Benchmark tests with 2765K against the iPhone’s 1578K. They also found that the 10 Pro boasted a higher 144Hz display refresh rate, supported higher wattage charging at 100W, and featured 50% more RAM with 12GB instead of 8GB. In conclusion, they noted that while the iPhone delivered across certain areas, people looking for performance and gaming as a priority should go for the REDMAGIC 10 Pro. In line with direct comparisons, Versus also took to pitting the 10 Pro against the iPhone 16 and found that our gaming smartphone easily had more battery power, more RAM, and more megapixels in the main camera. In another YouTube review, Dame Tech crowned the 10 Pro the gaming king of 2024 after pitting it against the iPhone 16 Pro Max during three rounds of gameplay testing. After the test, he was surprised to see that the 10 Pro maintained a cool 34°C during the peak temperature test while the 16 Pro Max peaked up to a high 42°C. Dame Tech also noted that the REDMAGIC 10 Pro managed to average a slightly higher FPS average while the iPhone only came close to beating it. He also stressed that the 10 Pro managed to secure a win in FPS performance while maintaining a slightly higher in-game resolution. In terms of endurance, Marques Brownlee already hailed the 10 Pro as the winner in the Best Battery category in his 2024 Smartphone Awards. Brownlee commended the phone’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and its incredible 7,000mAh battery. According to Brownlee, the big iPhones that come out each year with large batteries but often fall short by simply charging too slowly.

The reviewers found that the 10 Pro featured a better CPU with its 4.32 GHz Octa-Core when compared to the iPhone’s 4.05GHZ Hexa-Core. It also had a better chipset, GPU, and ANTUTU score. In conclusion, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro excelled in terms of processor, storage, dimensions, battery, cameras, connectivity, and sound.

Mark Knapp for IGN called the 10 Pro “beastly” and concluded in his review of the phone that it was simply the best he’d seen, “topping even the Asus ROG Phone 9, the OnePlus 13, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.” Knapp noted that the phone put up solid numbers in Geekbench 6, where its 3077-point single-core score only marginally trails the ROG Phone 9 and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In 3DMark’s game benchmarks, the 10 Pro also didn’t hold back with 7015 points in Wildlife Extreme, 2546 points in Steel Nomad Light, and 12034 points in Solar Bay – the phone easily beat every other phone tested and even tops the ROG Phone 9 by 18% on average across the three tests.

However, reviews and media are not the only people choosing to switch from iPhone to REDMAGIC. Many Reddit users have flooded comments of people asking for advice on which brand to choose, telling them to choose the REDMAGIC if gaming is a priority. One reply to a Reddit user announced that they had “upgraded” from an iPhone 15 Pro Max to the REDMAGIC 10 Pro, stating it was the best decision made and the 10 Pro remained “shockingly good” while still being “probably the best looking phone on the market.” They went on to state that the 10 Pro is easily faster than the Pro Max and offered better quality.
