Our new gaming tablet packs quite the punch when it comes to power. Using the most powerful processor in any Android tablet, the REDMAGIC Astra is backed by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and uses two Oryon Prime Cores and six Oryon Performance Cores to a maximum clocked speed of 4.32 GHz.
With an Adreno™ 830 GPU running at 1.1 GHz, the processing power of this powerhouse is enough to deliver effortless next-generation gaming, ultra-fast multitasking, and seamless app switching. To fully optimize performance and power management, our REDMAGIC RedCore R3 Pro steps in to take on some of the weight of this processing machine.
The Astra gaming tablet also comes with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage for more power and speed than most laptops on the market. Together, these ensure faster multitasking and app switching, while ensuring smoother gaming with reduced lag, higher data speeds, and improved power efficiency for better battery life. The tablet also runs on the upgraded REDMAGIC 10.5 OS that’s equipped with Android 15.

This is why the 9.06-inch Astra tablet maintains a sleek and flat design with no camera bump and comes with rounded edges to ensure a lightweight frame, making it easier to hold with just one hand. Being larger than 7–8-inch models, the Astra offers a better gaming and multitasking experience with higher specs. However, it also stays comfortably smaller than most 10–13-inch tablets to keep it compact and easier to carry.
The tablet also features an aviation aluminum middle frame and comes draped in Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 for a durable and sleek design, while dynamic fluorescent RGB lighting gives you the ideal ambience as you play. It also comes fitted with a Magic Key which opens our GameSpace by default but can be customized as needed.

OLED displays use organic compounds and have a more delicate production process to ensure that each pixel lights up individually. This provides better contrast and makes visuals truly pop while being energy-efficient and ultra responsive.
With a narrow 4.9mm bezel, the Astra seamlessly achieves a high 90.1% screen-to-body ratio, which pairs with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet also uses our Magic Touch feature for rapid responses, added fingertip-sensitivity, and faster first frame rendering and subsequent reporting. These all melt together for stunningly immersive gameplay with stellar graphics.
We’ve also collaborated with Synaptics to develop a customized, next-generation touch chip—which is making its debut in our Astra Gaming Tablet – to deliver faster response times, enhanced touch precision, and better performance, even if you have sweaty hands. Our Astra tablet also features SGS-certified eye comfort and SGS Flicker-Free features to reduce blue light emissions and eye fatigue.

As with most of our devices, the Astra gaming tablet also gives you Frame Rate Boost to scale up different games to a 2K resolution at 120 FPS for better image quality. Popular games already optimized for higher refresh rates include Call of Duty Mobile (120 Hz), PUBG (120 Hz), Genshin Impact (120 Hz), Minecraft (165 Hz), League of Legends: Wild Rift (144 Hz), Arena Breakout (90 Hz), and more to come.
Newly supported Frame Rate Boost games include Wuthering Waves (90 Hz), Blade & Soul (90 Hz), and Delta Force (144 Hz). With our X-Gravity game center, you can also customize settings and connect to console controllers, keyboards, and more, or take the game to a bigger screen with screen casting.

While stars usually burn hot, you’ll be pleased to find that our Astra gaming tablet runs ice cold with our enhanced 13-layer ICE-X Cooling System. Liquid Metal 2.0 is a material with a thermal conductivity of 200 W/m·K that’s commonly found in high-end gaming laptops and PCs. Softening slightly at around 50°C, the material enables highly efficient thermal transfer which is far superior to traditional cooling solutions.
Placed strategically between the tablet’s CPU and battery chip, the liquid metal quickly disperses heat and ensures optimal performance while improving charging efficiency by 13%. This keeps the tablet performing at its peak, even during intense and extended gaming sessions.
At REDMAGIC, we’ve also engineered the industry’s first dual-layer sandwich vapor chamber system to keep down the heat. These vapor chambers use graphene and copper insulation to maintain stable frame rates, prevent throttling, and provide a smooth, uninterrupted gaming experience. Paired together, they work simultaneously above and below the chipset to rapidly disperse heat and maintain stability.
Our signature high-speed turbofan with 17 x 17mm large shark-fin blades also keeps the tablet cool while spinning at 20,000 RPM for ultra-efficient heat dissipation while remaining whisper-quiet - actively reducing core temperatures by 8°C and improving chip cooling efficiency by 28%.
